Advertising Possibilities

In cooperation with IP Deutschland, n-tv plus and selected clients, the association is studying the effect of different advertising formats and their placement on interactive television.

The study uses n-tv interaktiv - one of Germany´s first interactive TV programmes. By connecting television and Internet with the Media Center in Windows Vista, interactive services can be shown parallel to real-time TV images.

Classic commercials, infomercials via Video on Demand, newsletters and other interactive advertising formats can be integrated to study their effects.

Research questions:

  • Which form of integrated advertising is the most effective? Which services do consumers use?
  • To what degree do viewers accept interactive advertising?
