GRUNDY Light Entertainment is an independent producer of entertainment formats for German speaking broadcasters.

The core business of the company contains the development and production of various genres of entertainment shows. Among them are talent shows which belong to the portfolio of FremantleMedia as "Deutschland sucht den Superstar"/ "Pop Idol" (RTL) and "Das Supertalent"/ "Britain's Got Talent" (RTL) and self-developed formats as "Musical Showstar" (ZDF), game shows as "Das Quiz mit Jorg Pilawa"/"Veto" (ARD) or "Sag die Wahrheit"/"To Tell The Truth" (SWR) and event shows as "Promi argere Dich nicht"/"Celebrity Ludo" (Sat.1). Comedy shows as the self-developed formats "Noch Besserwissen - Die grosse Show des unnutzen Wissens" /"Beat The Monkey"(ProSieben) and "Alles in Ordnung" /"Insane Authorities" (ProSieben) complete the range.

The entertainment producer headquartered in Cologne produces for all big TV broadcasters, among them RTL, ProSieben , Sat.1, ARD und ZDF.

GRUNDY Light Entertainment belongs to UFA, the FremantleMedia production unit in Germany. FremantleMedia is one of the largest international producers.
